Converting Traffic to Leads and Leads to Buyers
How do you convert your traffic to actual paying customers? It’s one of the biggest frustrations faced by those working on the Internet. Sure, the money’s in the list. But how do you get people onto your list?
When I first started I had no idea of what a ‘list’ was. Unless of course, it was the safelists that I was using to post out my ads every day. Having my own list just wasn’t on my radar at all.![]()

So you’ve got a list and you’re sending out value packed information to them on a regular basis. How do you get them off your subscriber list and into your commission paying list?
Let’s face it, that’s where you want them to be right? Regardless of how big your list is, if they’re not buying anything from you, you’re not making any money.
And this (imho) is the biggest hurdle facing those of us wanting to ‘make it big’. Converting traffic to leads is one thing. Converting those leads into eager buyers is another.
If you’re anything like me, the thought of picking up the phone and actually talking to people you don’t know probably scares the pants off you. But you know what? That only holds true for the first couple of times.
Really. Once you’ve spoken to 2 or 3 prospects, it just gets easier. The secret is really getting into the mindset of not expecting them to buy from you. If they do, it’s a bonus. If not, hey, you just made a contact and at some point you may do business together. Who knows?
