So you all know that I’m not the most techie brain but I’ve been using a little secret spy tool for a while now and I have to tell you it rocks big time.

Keyword research isn’t something you start out knowing how to do or even why you should need to do it in the first place. But let me tell you, it’s pretty damn important if you want to be attracting people to your website.

And figuring out what your competition is up to can be a HUUUUGE help in your efforts.

But a lot of it takes time, it’s too hard to learn how to use the programmes or software and personally I can never make sense of it anyway.

Until I found and started using SEMRUSH. And now I’ve gotta tell you, this is by far the easiest ’spy’ tool I’ve come across for those of us who are technically challenged.

There is a free and a paid version. As usual paid gets you more, but trust me, free works just fine unless you’re really into keywords, SEO and spying big time.

• Get a list of the Google keywords for any website - organic or Adwords!
• Check out your competitors landing pages!
• See the cost per click being paid for your keywords!
• Find out who’s getting the free traffic and who’s paying for it!

To be honest I could go on forever with what you can find out using this. But let me give you a quick example. If you’re chasing after ranking for the keyword - “mlm home based business", you might want to try ‘businesses’ instead.

You just cut your competition in half. And sure there are less searches, but do you really want to go up against that much competition when you’re just starting out. Plus, if you’re using Google Adwords your costs will be a heck of a lot cheaper.
