So it’s kind of hard for me to say this, because as far as I’m concerned, Mike Dillard and Magnetic Sponsoring, are totally responsible for getting me off my butt, and finally getting me to the point of achieving any level of success with my online marketing career.
Not that others haven’t played their part. They have. I’ve met, networked with, and learned from some super awesome folks over the last year. But none of that would have been possible had Magnetic Sponsoring not kicked me into action in the first place.
So all those of you who subscribe to my blog, my newsletter, or have signed up to get my Insider Report, you now know who to thank (blame?
)
But here’s the thing. In fact, no, before I mention ‘the thing’, let me give you a little background information first.
See, I came into this looking for a way to spend more time with my grandchildren. At almost 50 years of age, I found myself suddenly single when a ‘newer model’ caught a certain someone’s eye.
Now starting from scratch is never easy, but when you find yourself having to put in more and more hours at the office to keep a roof over your head, because suddenly you’re down to one wage, when two wasn’t really cutting it anyway, when the time you had available to go swimming or to the park, is now spent working overtime so you can afford to pay the plumber, then life can get really crummy really fast!
And who wants to live a crummy life? Let’s face it, given the choice between going to work, or playing with your kids, which one are you going to choose?
So I started looking around for ways to earn extra money that didn’t involve sitting locked in the office for ever longer hours. And boy, does the Internet offer a lot of options!
However, given my age and upbringing, not all of them were necessarily appropriate!
But there were enough promises of ‘instant wealth‘, to get me hooked. I figured within a few weeks, I’d be living the high life and taking my grandkids with me.
I realise to you that probably sounds immensely dumb. But you’ve got to look at this through the eyes of a 50 year old grandmother. Think about it. Computers weren’t invented when I was a kid, I wasn’t really into the Internet, other than sending an odd e-mail to Aunty Doris. And I figured even being able to do that made me pretty savvy!
So I was probably ripe to being ripped off big time. Luckily for me though God did bless me with common sense, so my first encounter with being ripped off was small time, and it has never happened again!
But ‘not being ripped off’ isn’t exactly the same as ‘getting rich’. I may not have been blowing all my hard earned money on get rich quick schemes, but I sure as heck wasn’t making that much either. Certainly not enough to spend more time with my grandkids!
Then along came Mr Dillard and Magnetic Sponsoring. I had seen all the ads, the fancy capture pages, (by then I knew what they were, lol)and wasn’t interested. Well, OK I was interested, but I wasn’t so keen on being ripped off again!
Those of you know me don’t need me to tell you that I did eventually get round to purchasing Magnetic Sponsoring. And since then, life has been a whole different ball game.
Am I a millionaire guru yet? Heck no. If I was, I’d have someone else sitting here spilling their heart out to you. As it is, you only get to listen to me, not some high priced copywriting expert, who would have you reaching for your wallet with every post, or some SEO techno-geek who would make sure that my keywords were stuffed to just the right density so that every post would be number one on Google within minutes!
Nope, none of that here folks. Still just plain, old me. Albeit a lot wiser than the ‘me’ who started out on this journey a year ago.
And still the number one fan of Mike and Magnetic Sponsoring. (maybe I should try out my Kathy Bates impression since my marriage proposals are going unanswered?
)
But here’s the thing. (remember, that ‘thing’ that I mentioned right at the beginning?)
Magnetic Sponsoring doesn’t tell you that “Becoming The Hunted” isn’t all it’s cracked up to be!
See, now that I have my own (growing) list of subscribers, as opposed to sending out a zillion ads at the click of a button; now that I have learned what works (and what doesn’t); now that I have invested time and money into learning the skills for success, as opposed to just signing up to every product or business that caught my eye thinking they were the key to my success…
All the time I’ve saved from not sending safelist ads, not reading safelist ads, not surfing Traffic Exchanges, not downloading ‘free’ reports that I never got round to reading, discovering that the ‘free’ reports I did read were full of BS, not tryping to figure out how the heck anyone could make any money out of this whole Internet crap.
Now that time is spent on answering e-mails from subscribers, sending out training tips, checking out ‘capture pages’ for folks ready to take that all important leap into generating their own leads, taking phone calls from folks wanting to know about my business, setting up a ‘newbies‘ group over on BetterNetworker, keeping up my blog here at Sans Money Secret (and yes, I know I’ve neglected you all lately, sorry.)…But ‘being hunted’ is pretty exhausting.
Not that Mr Dillard tells you that does he? Oh no. Just
Buy Magnetic Sponsoring and Have Folks Hunting You Down, Credit Card in Hand
Totally forgets to mention that once those folks start hunting you down, you find yourself building a whole new world full of friends, and JV partners, and business partners, and all the rest of it. Yes, you might be making more money, but you have to ask yourself if the payback is a price you’re willing to pay.
Are you really willing to invest in training all those new downline members in your MLM business? Are you really ready to spend time helping others duplicate your success? Are you really going to give away the knowledge you’ve paid to acquire so that your newest team member can learn it for free?
Because if it isn’t, then stick with whatever you’re doing now. Of course, if you are willing to pay the price, then feel free to click the link below. But don’t say I didn’t warn you!
To Your Success
