So you all know how important it is to build your reputation on the Internet if you want to be really successful. And I’m guessing you also know the power of social networking as a very successful strategy for helping you do just that. In a world full of “You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours", he who scratches first is more likely to get their own itch scratched in return.

But now, the Certified God of combining social networking with SEO has recently released a very powerful video showing you not only how it helps you build your own reputation, but also how it can gain you the attention of some of the Internet’s most powerful and successful gurus. And let’s face it folks. A lot of the time, getting on in business isn’t so much about ‘what’ you know as ‘who’ you know.

I was extremely blessed to gain the friendship of very successful people early on in my online endeavours. And their help and support has been key critical in getting me where I am today. I simply couldn’t have done it without them. And neither can you. Remember, no man is an island!

So when one of those very same friends (he of the ‘certified God’ status ) released this video setting it all out I had to share it. Because I know it works. Back Scratching Social SEO at it’s finest. Enjoy and implement.

I’m seriously considering changing my stance on maintaining a good reputation. Following the recent s**t storm over my article on how Prosper Learning dealt with one of their customers, my traffic has gone through the roof, and so have my earnings.

Go figure. Or maybe it’s the fact I’ve been on holiday that has caused the upsurge?

Anyway, I somehow doubt that those of you claiming my reputation is damaged expected this little consequence. I certainly didn’t. So thanks.

Alas, all good things must come to an end. And now it’s time to get back to work. So I’ve closed the comments and following this post won’t be discussing the matter any further, though I’ve no doubt the rest of you will continue to do so whether I’m there or not.

As for the allegations about me scamming and spamming - believe them if you wish. I know, as do my subscribers, that they are totally unfounded.

In the meantime, please don’t take the title of this post as good advice. It seems some folks don’t bother reading posts fully and have a tendency to take what is written out of context. No doubt it will be the subject of the next complaint about me.

However, you really will earn more money with a good reputation than a bad one. And even if you don’t, your reputation is worth more than money in the bank.
