Not sure what I mean by ‘X’ factor? Well, think ‘American Idol’ UK style and you get the picture!
Every business needs to have something special, something unique, in essence each business needs to have the ‘X’ factor.
Your X factor is what distinguishes you from others. It’s what is going to make you stand out in the crowd. Let’s face it, with all the thousands of opportunities out there and online networkers, why should anyone choose to work with YOU?
What is your appeal? What are you offering that is so different to what everyone else is offering? What is your USP (unique selling position)?
You need to consider this very carefully before you start marketing your business because this is what you are going to base your marketing around!
If you want to top Google and be successful I strongly advise that your ‘X’ factor be based around you, or as Mike Dillard would say “You.inc”
Think about what your business offers. Think about what you can offer over and above what other business owners are offering. Consider what is so special about you that anyone would choose you over the next guy.
Then get out there and sell it! Whatever ‘it’ is. And remember, your ‘it’ won’t be the same as mine or anyone else’s. If it is, chances are you’re in for a very long, very frustrating, and ultimately unsuccessful journey.
To Your Success
