Just wanted to put this up real quick after having a conversation with a good friend who has spent years trying to make money online, all without success. And the reason is that she has never managed to move on from her ‘newbie’ mindset when it comes to marketing and making money online.
I appreciate we all start out as newbies. Some may be more advanced than others because they have the computer skills, the technical skills, the people skills, but basically everyone starts at the bottom.
Unfortunately some folks never seem to move up the ladder. They continue to get sucked into the hype that it’s the programme that is going to make them money. Listen up, your programme is probably the least important reason for your success or failure.
Getting the right programme is far less important than getting the right training.
And I know there is all sorts of hype out there about what is the right training and knowing who to trust plays a key part. But the answer is that you trust people who have already been there, done that, got the T-shirt. You don’t trust the sales pages with their fancy graphics and logic busting sales copy.
Many a reputation has been ruined before it’s even been made simply by folks signing up for scams and BS, and then trying to pass it on by recommending it to their friends, downline, team members, whoever. Once gone, your reputation is hard to get back. And in marketing, your reputation is priceless.
If you are a total newbie to marketing, go check out Randy (the Hermit, what a name, lol) and take his Beginners Marketing Course. You don’t need to take the upgrade unless you’re absolutely certain that you’re going to make full benefit from it! But the training is simple enough for anyone to follow.
Once you’re done watching and applying, then you’ll be ready to move on. If you don’t watch, listen, learn and apply, you won’t. But maybe you like being a newbie and getting scammed?
