Free software (that is any good) is pretty hard to come by when you’re as technically challenged as I am. Sure, there’s loads of stuff out there, but you need at the very least a degree in computer science to understand what it does and how to make it do what it’s supposed to do.
For those of us ‘technically challenged geeks’, finding something that does exactly what you want it to do, something that you can actually use, and something that isn’t going to cost you a fortune, is a real hard struggle.
And let’s face it, Internet Marketing is hard enough when you’re just starting out. It’s a bit like trying to learn how to do a jigsaw, when you don’t even have all the pieces.
Anyway, to get back to my point. ( think I’ll just stick to rambling cos I know you all love it so.
)
Free Software.
Here is (in my opinion) the best piece of software that I have ever used, let alone the fact that (at the moment) it is free.
iFrame PHP Redirect Generator was created by Cenay Nailor. Some of you who have invested in my Insider Report will already know Cenay. For those of you that don’t yet know this lady, when you see just how cool and super easy this software is, you will realise exactly why I am so thrilled she agreed to contribute!
Now, don’t go getting all freaked out by the title! I know it’s a mouthful and you probably don’t even know what an iFrame is, or PHP, or a redirect. Doesn’t matter. I promise you, none of what you don’t know is important with this piece of software!
All that is important is what it does. Which is, it creates a file that effectively allows you to send someone from ‘yoursite.com‘ to ‘youraffiliatesite.com‘. Now, you’re probably thinking ‘well, there’s a whole bunch of software out there that can do that’. And you’d be right.
BUT… every other piece of redirecting or link cloaking software out there that I’ve seen, puts a promotional link right slap bang across the top of the page that you’re trying to promote! Effectively, you’re promoting the link cloaker, and not ‘youraffiliatesite.com’.
So the first benefit to using this free software is that it only promotes your site, not the software itself.
Now, here’s the next cool part. You can include your title, description and keywords in there to help with your Google indexing. And let’s face it, if you’re promoting an affiliate site that is also being promoted by a zillion other affiliates, you want to have a little edge over them, don’t you? And I mean an edge that is in addition to the fact, you’re not displaying an ugly, unprofessional, please steal my commission, affiliate link!
And now, for the really cool part! Oh yes, there’s more. (Gosh, I sound like one of those adverts on the shopping channels…"But wait, there’s more",
)
Seriously, Cenay has just recently updated the software to allow you to include your Google or Woopra tracking codes in there. Now you can see how your link is performing right there in your tracking reports.
Honestly people, I cannot recommend this highly enough. I am an idiot when it comes to anything technical. And I have used this in about 5 minutes flat! Don’t believe me? Check out Sanssecret.com/recommends/
Obviously, Cenay is going to start charging for this product in the future. At the moment, it’s free because she’s looking for feedback and recommendations on how to improve it. I’ve put my own request in there and urge you to do the same.
I guarantee you will be able to use this free software no matter how ‘technically challenged’ you are.
To Your Success

You have me blushing right down to my toenails. Thanks for this wonderful blog post about the software (and me).
Can I link back to this and call it a "testimionial"?
And don't forget, if you can think of something the software needs, just ask.
BTW, I am consider a database option so the software that store all the redirects you create, so you can save one, then load it up again and alter it. Does this sound like something that would help?
Just curious...
Thanks again for the wonderful post.

by all means link back to the post. This software is totally awesome. Anyone who doesn't get their hands on this is missing out big time.
The database option sounds terrific. Be useful for changing keywords and running split tests.
My absolute perfect wish would be for it to automatically generate suggested keywords though. Obviously with the ability to change them if I wanted to. But sometimes when you're in a hurry or are totally new and don't know how to do keyword research, then having it done for you would be a huge benefit.
Oh, and automatic uploading as well.
And how about automatic titles and descriptions.
And then you could.....
LOL, ok, so I guess users should have to do a 'little' work themselves!
Susan
Okay Susan, I will get right on those requests...
Hmmm, how about I teach it to read the mind of the affiliate marketer? That would cover all based, right?
Cenay'
PS: Just kidding, but THANKS for the feedback.
